It is a great pleasure to welcome you in Geneva, Switzerland for the “2010 Advanced Course of Mastology”.

This course is planned and organized by MANOSMED (Mastology Association of the Northern and Southern Mediterranean) as a Mobile University of Mastology in collaboration with others international scientific societies.

MANOSMED, founded by Professor J-L Lamarque (France), is currently chaired by Associate Professor Stephane Zervoudis (Greece) and involves a large number of academic specialists in breast diseases.

MANOSMED organizes a yearly advanced course in one of the Mediterranean members or affiliated countries.

After the 2009 successful event in Tartous, Syria dedicated to “Early breast cancer”, this course will focus on “Locally advanced and metastatic breast cancer”.

Scientific sessions given by Swiss Faculty and MANOSMED teachers will be completed by plenary lectures of internationally recognized breast cancer specialists. Additional workshops will be organized as pre-course events for registered attendees only.

Of interest, this course will be part of the new « International Mediterranean Diploma of Mastology MANOSMED » which is launched this year. The postdoctoral diploma in breast diseases will be delivered by the University of Montpelier (France) in collaboration with others Universities after completion of several training courses.
